Welcome to a great season of fun, excitement, hard work, great times, and championship caliber swimming and diving! The history of the East Kentwood “Red Navy” is unlike any other high school program in West Michigan. From the team performances listed above; to the numerous All-Conference, All-State, and All-American individuals; and to the many young men who have come before you; this team has produced winners in all aspects of their lives.

The hallmark of this program is the character and pride that each person has shown as they have worked to live up to our motto-

“Total Commitment To Championship Goals”!

This commitment will be extremely important as we work through this season. As we adjust to life in our new “home” we re-establish the training regimen and traditions that have led to such great success. As with any challenge these obstacles should be looked at as opportunities to test ourselves and prove our “metal”.

Other notes:

1. AM practices are in the water for 1 hour, 15 minutes
2. If we do not have a Saturday meet we will have a practice.
3. Note the weekend of December 23-25. This weekend is off so that families can enjoy the holiday break. Please try to get your family to schedule gatherings this weekend!
4. During Christmas Vacation we do a majority of our most important BASE training- do your best to not miss ANY of these practices.
5. Taper begins 2 weeks before the Championship Meets- No more mornings and very adjusted afternoon workouts!
6. This training program is designed to instruct you in correct techniques, train you correctly, and prepare you to perform at your optimum at the Championship Meets.
7. This program is designed to be FUN, FAST AND FURIOUS!
