Volunteering

The team can not exist without the help of the parent committee and volunteers. Listed here are some of the volunteer opportunities needed during each season. If you are interested in being on the committee or becoming an office, please contact the coaches or officers for more information.

For the individual meet volunteer opportunities, sign up sheets for what positions are needed with dates and times will be posted in the Coach's Meeting room prior to each event.

Volunteer for whole season

- Parent Committee Officers (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary)

- Parent committee member

Volunteer for an individual meet

All of the volunteering positions are on a per meet basis. Volunteering is not a job and even as a volunteer, you still need to see your child swim. Listed are the possible opportunities, check the Parent Handbook for more details on the individual positions. So if you can volunteer for only one meet, you can make a difference.

- Event Setup - General help, before every home meet, to get everything setup.

- Event Display computer operator - Assist in running the "big" display board.

- Announcer - You are on the deck, "ready, set, go"

- Swimming Timers - You are on the pool deck with a stopwatch.

- Swimmer Marshalling - You are on the deck getting swimmers organized for events.

- Concessions - You get to meet, greet and sell stuff for KAC.

- Runners - You are general help during the meet (you can be anywhere/everywhere)

- Event Tear down - General help, after every home meet, to clean everything up.
